a combination of complete plant-based protein, slow burning carbs, healthy fats, and a variety of micronutrients are all essential nutrients that our body cannot produce and we must get them through our diet. Soylent products can be classified as a “complete meal” or "complete nutrition" because they contain all 39 essential nutrients.
our favorite way to get the best taste and texture is using a blender and chilling for 20 minutes before enjoying it. however, using a shaker bottle works really well too!

1. mix. for an 8oz serving, mix ½ cup (60g) of Soylent with 1 cup of water. for a 12oz serving, mix ⅔ cup (90g) of Soylent with 1½ cup of water. each scoop of powder is approximately ⅓ cup, if you’re using a Soylent scoop. for exact measurements, use a scale and measure by weight.
2. shake. use a shaker bottle or blender. prepare with ice or chill before serving.
3. drink and enjoy! store any unfinished, mixed Soylent in the fridge. consume within two days.
the only difference between Soylent powder pouches and Soylent powder tubs is the volume of powder – there are 12 meals in 1 tub, while 1 case of Soylent Powder pouches contains 35 total meals. there is no difference in the powder formula.
Soylent that is unopened can be stored at room temperature with a shelf-life of up to one year. while most users choose to refrigerate their Soylent before enjoying it, it isn’t required.

heat should not cause Soylent to spoil, however, if temperatures go above 110 degrees the vitamins & nutrients may begin to break down over time.

the "best by" date listed on your Soylent is not an expiration date but rather the date where we have data for best taste and texture quality. consuming our product after the “best by” date should not pose a food safety concern.

    Just what I was looking for.

    I am a male in my 40s and was looking to lose some weight and get some better nutrients in my diet. I tried 3 different complete meal systems and ended up preferring soylent. I started about a year ago with the last 6 months being soylent and have lost over 30 pounds in that time. From 235 to under 190. My goal is 160 to 170. It's nice because I can track my calories easily and fine tune my intake. I do wish that there was more flavors in the powder though.

    Convenient in so many ways. And yummy!

    Been using this for several years. It's a great balance of convenience and cost. The powder mixes great with coffee for a mocha-like breakfast drink, which is super nice on multi-day hikes for example. It travels well and is not heavy like a premixed liquid. Plus the shelf life is solid at several months.

    Healthy, cost effective, and delicious

    I’ve been drinking Soylent on and off for years, but decided to incorporate it more into my diet 90 days ago. The cost of pre-mixed solutions made it prohibitively expensive, and I was wary on how the powder would mix. I am happy to report that I have enjoyed the flavor and texture, and actually like being able to manage how thick the shake is.

    I experimented with adding bananas, peanut butter, and some other fruits, which is really good as well, but I really just enjoy the chocolate flavor by itself. It is now my typical breakfast and lunch nearly every day, allowing me to have a good healthy diet while enjoying a family meal without worrying about calorie counting.

    Lost some weight and more importantly feel much healthier!
